The Maloja channel scrobbles your recognized tracks to a self-hosted Maloja instance. Maloja is a self-hosted music scrobble database.
Automatic scrobbling
Section titled “Automatic scrobbling”When enabled, tracks are scrobbled automatically once the publishing delay is over. You can disable automatic scrobbling and scrobble individual tracks manually from the track menu instead.
Configuration
Section titled “Configuration”Find the configuration in the Channels tab → "Maloja".
Enter the base URL of your Maloja instance (e.g., https://maloja.example.com). Do not include the API path — the app will append /apis/mlj_1/newscrobble automatically.
You'll also need an API key from your Maloja instance. You can find or create API keys in Maloja's settings under "API keys". Copy-paste it into the API Key field and click "Save API Key" — that's it. No browser authorization flow needed.
Once configured, you'll see a confirmation that the API key is stored, and can disconnect if needed.
Track menu actions
Section titled “Track menu actions”The track menu gives you quick access to the channel-specific actions:
- Scrobble track: Manually send the track to your Maloja instance if auto-scrobbling is off (only available after the publish delay)
