Actions for Obsidian › Actions › Delete File
Trashes or deletes a file. By default the file will be moved to the trash (as configured in Obsidian under Settings → Files & Links → Deleted Files).
Parameters
Section titled “Parameters”The vault to work in.
Type: Vault reference
File Path
Section titled “File Path”The path of the file, relative to the vault root.
Type: Text
Delete immediately and irrevocably
Section titled “Delete immediately and irrevocably”When enabled, the note is deleted immediately, bypassing the trash folder.
Type: Boolean (YES/NO)
